wow, Musk buying Infowars just to harass school shooting victims was not on my bingo card. If he actually does go through with this, he will single handedly go down as the most hated person in American history, and have his entire business taken away. Regardless of what you think of Musk, it would be catastrophic for him to entangle himself in Alex Jones’s problems. Jones’ own editors told the prosecution they didn’t believe the shit they (re)posted, that they knew were lies, and that their drug-addicted boss told them to keep it up. This is still on Youtube. Jones has proven himself incompetent and will destroy everything he touches.

And on that “re” posting bit, Jones’ entire defense was that Infowars’ forums and radio show was a platform not a publisher. Musk uses the same argument for twitter, and could destroy the entire site with the next big mass shooting. God, can you just imagine if Musk goes on Infowars and starts posting skepticism around dead children? And “analyze” the autopsy photos like it’s a UFO investigation? It is almost too horrible to comprehend.
