> Additional research should explore how other factors affect student achievement, such as school funding, zoning and housing policy, and the availability of support programs.
Not surprising.
Some parents have the values and resources to give their kids good housing, access to books and activities, and the advice and guidance to succeed in life.
Some parents have the same values but lack the resources.
Some parents frankly don’t have the same values.
In any ethnic, cultural, or racialized group, there will be some distribution of those different types of parents. Parents that value, focus on, and provide resources are likely similar if they come from different backgrounds.

They might be very appropriate in some situations and almost useless in others.
When are they going to look at cognitive abilities for different races?

If this fairly obvious data can be recognized it ought to lead to a drastic change in hours colleges administer aid/ assistance.
