    > after killing 45,000 women and children, we can confirm that one unarmed peace loving member of our group, who spent his final months caring for Jews, was killed by Israel

    Hamas press officer, tomorrow

  3. Officially Confirmed:
    >“Sinwar’s assassination creates a possibility for the immediate release of the hostages and could lead to a new reality in Gaza – without Hamas and without Iranian control,” Katz said.

    Edit:

    >Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is slated to give a statement to the press as Israel prepares to confirm the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

Edit: Multiple western outlets also now confirming the news

It is confirmed, but lets post another source than Katz please…

Good job, IDF. Mission accomplished 👍 Gaza Pullout when? Or will they make the same mistake the US did with Afghanistan

  6. I wonder if those white college student protestors who go to Ivy League schools and are largely from upper-middle class/upper class families are sad right now.

How tragic that he was killed by his intended victims in the war he long wished to wage

Praying there isn´t revenge executions set up of hostages because of this.

Sinwar learned that you can only roll the dice so many times before your number comes up.

    Either

    1) he & his supporters didn’t pray enough / this is sky wizards plan

    2) he & his supporters picked the wrong sky wizard/wrong flavor of sky wizard worship

    3) there are no sky wizards.

Great, now Israel can stop bombing random hospitals so teens don’t burn to death, and can chill bombing random entire villages in Lebanon, right?

Poor Jeremy Corbyn, he’s lost so many friends recently.

Was this the one known for having a cadre of human shield prisoners around him at all times in order to prevent such an attack?

Whichever bozo is calling the shots within Gaza it’s time to give it up

This seems weird.. I thought Sinwar was in Qatar this entire time.

What was he doing in Gaza? We all know he could care less about the people there so why bother going. I would’ve expected some sort of headline that he was back in Gaza prior to his death.

Dude just seemed to finally have his luck run out, way it is looking they just randomly found and got him then realized who it was.

  17. Crazy to think about the ramifications this will have on Hamas as an organization. Haniyeh and Sinwar were the main contacts that organized support from Iran/Qatar.

    From the NY Times coverage:

“I wish he rots in hell. He is responsible for all this destruction,” said Fadia, a 42-year-old teacher from Jabaliya, who didn’t want her last name published for fear of retribution from Hamas. “I am actually relieved he is gone. This should mean the war is coming to an end now, I hope.”

    My sentiments exactly.

  19. Good. Now let’s see if the remaining scumbags surrender and give the hostages back

  20. I’m conflicted celebrating anyone’s death, no matter how heinous, so I’ll just say I’m glad he isn’t in charge anymore.
