Warns and does nothing about it. We have little to say about Russian escalation but hold Ukraine back from doing what it needs to survive because we fear Ukrainian “escalation.” Our leaders are weak. Unfortunately, the alternative is a traitor who sides with Russia.

US strategy:
1. Warn
2. Send a few weapons
3. Hold aid back
4. “Why are you not winning, son?”
5. ???
6. Profit

USA warns 16 years in a row. All of this it happens precisely because USA warns too much more than do something after such warnings.

If the NorKs are anything like their poor quality artillery shells they gave putler, I wouldn’t worry too much.

I’m hoping the next administration does something. The waiting game is causing the lives of many brave men and women in Ukraine.

Now, North Koreans can also die for nothing. Makes sense I guess. When your country is shitty enough, dying for nothing probably seems fine.

Nork and Rus regime changes coming soon! Heck, maybe they’ll even join nato.

Well, President Biden, these sorts of things are bound to happen when you don’t support a democracy under attack.

I feel that if NK troops got actually involved. They would soon make the fatal error of crossing or attacking a border to another country. The idea of them in any significant number is madness. They have zero experience with people outside of their own little world.
I think they will be in some kind of support role that requires minimal translators. Like artillery or maybe even meatwave assaults on heavily fortified towns/cities.

Bad title. Article and quote basically says that the US is aware of the reports and are monitoring NK personnel in Ukraine closely.
We are no strangers to embedding aids, advisors, and special forces into foreign militaries, so I’m sure they are approaching this with that self awareness in mind.
The deciding factor will be how the NK personnel are deployed. If they are used in rear line, logistics, and/or any other support roles, I doubt much happens. If they start partaking in offensive actions, North Korea would be considered a direct belligerent in the war.

My peace plan: 1) Accept Ukraine into NATO immediately, 2) Tell rossia, iran, north korea that they have X months to get out before article V is invoked, 3) Start piling NATO forces into Ukraine.

Germany. Although we have a multitude of political parties, there is a clear, in lack of a better word, Americanization of political discourse. The far right (and newly emerged, GDR-nostalgic left-right hybrid) are really cheering for a Trump victory over here.

You can’t warn of the consequences of north Korean troops and then sit back and do nothing. Time for the restrictions to be lifted and let Ukraine win this damn war
