Whilst military aid via the Bosporus & Dardanelle straits under Article 19 of the Montreux Convention cannot be delivered to either protagonist whilst Ukraine/ruZZia war is ongoing, can this vessel be delivered to Ukraine given that it is being constructed by the Conventions guarantor, Turkey?
NVM: The vessel is being built at a Turkish shipyard on the Mediterranean Coast, so suspect that once it is ready, Turkiye will be unable to deliver the vessel because of said convention above!

Will it be able to use its RADAR and radio at the same time?
If so, it’s already leaps and bounds ahead of where the Moskva was.

Hasn’t it been demonstrated that military ships aren’t of much use in the Black Sea anymore? Costly to build, cheap to sink.

I’d venture that those extremely crafty and cunning Ukrainian’s have integrated so many innovative ways to hunt and destroy Russians that kilo for kilo, this Corvette will be feared beyond measure. Baba Yaga of the Black Sea.

Pretty sure this will not be going through the Dardanelles straits as it would breach the Montrose treaty.
BUT nothing stopping her going out into the North Sea and looking for victims in Kallingrad or the Northern fleet LOL

What would be genuinely hilarious is if Ukraine started patrolling the high seas and hunting Russia flagged ships.
Show up, take the crew on board, sink it. Drop the crew off at a neutral harbor. Completely legal. And it would force Russia spend outsized effort to convoy and escort its merchant marine.

I hope it has good anti-submarine capabilities. That’s probably the biggest threat right now.

Be very careful because I am certain that the RuZZians will move heaven and Earth to try to sink it.

Black Sea Fleet… You can run but you can’t hide!
Oh Hell yeah hunt them down boys
I’m pretty sure Turkey is retaining this ship until after the war ends.
