It’s a good step, but doesn’t really fully prevent foreign interference. You had to get security clearance to work at Canada’s National Laboratory and even then two scientists there were still caught working to benefit China
How about electing politicians that are loyal Canadians. How about taking care of Canadians first. How about making politicians financial information public and subject to scrutiny by the public.

Yeah, OK Katie /s
This is the most Katie Telford answer imaginable. She managed to use a Liberal talking point here, that she probably came up with.

Right – and how come the PMO/caucus won’t releae names of those MPs and other implicated in foreign interference?

Will all parties get to discuss what they learn in earnest, or will they be prosecuted for leaking state secrets?

Oh, and what have those who got them done with their security clearances granted so far?

Oh really? do tell me how everyone WITH clearance has been leading the charge against foreign interference? because for over a year no-one’s done shit.

Fight foreign interference by releasing the names of 11 MPs and senators implicated in the NSICOP report.
Go on Katie, do it.

If it comes with a gag order it is not a good deal Canadians deserve to know who is working with foreign governments to topple Canada.

100% agree. What is Poilievre hiding? Couldn’t the Conservative Party of Canada have vetted him better before allowing him to be the leader of their party? Poilievre is a national security risk.

Or maybe his fucking government could do something about it. He’s in charge, it’s his mandate, so your fucking job for once.
