  1. “Immigrant communities” isn’t a frequency, or specific enough to be useful or distinct from “Specific enclave”.

  2. TScottFitzgerald on

Check post history, OP’s a brit with a middle east obsession

  3. Does “immigrant communities” require a documented case occurring in said country or is it just based on assumptions? I’ve never heard of a FGM case in the USA

  4. LogicalPakistani on

In Pakistan it’s extremely rare. I have never heard anything like that in my entire life.

  5. HelloThereItsMeAndMe on

You know, instead of saying “common” or “rare”, maybe use actual numbers.

No source, no reference for the % the colours mean, downvoted.

OP is on a middle eastern witch-hunt and should not be trusted to provide accurate info.

The immigrant communities part should not exist. Anyone like that should be deported along with their families. It’s evil to let these people in the west and let them keep their savage backwater hateful traditions. Yes female genital mutilation is a backwater hateful and very savage tradition

  8. Colombia should be light yellow. It is only done by a specific indigenous group, they are called Emberá, and even among them it isn’t universal.

  9. What is female genital mutilation? I’m Brazilian and never heard of that before

  10. Frescanation on

When a barbaric practice is more common in the US than it is in Iran, maybe it is time to crack down on those immigrant communities.

  11. This looks dubious. What’s the source? And why is the key so vague? What constitutes “common” and “rare”?

  12. Gan_the_Kobold on

I am sad that there is no “none at all” in any country.

Humanety can do better. I hope.

  13. Cardemother12 on

Not to sound intolerant but why is it allowed among immigrant communities ?
