      Each stablish its own standards for “line of poverty”, they are not comparable as it is not an international level

      Hmm interesting, wouldnt say we were this much better compared to the rest of Europe. Finland especially surprises me, as I havent seen country more socially equal. But as the Czech Republic goes, the colours are correct, the two most problematic regions are there picked green.

      Some of these are not very surprising for Germany. The blue regions near the Dutch border encompass most of the Ruhr Valley, which has a lot of deprived areas and the ones in East Germany cover some of its most depopulated and deindustrialised regions which were kinda left barren after reunification.

      However, I am wondering why Berlin isn’t dark blue whereas Hamburg is. Incomes in Hamburg are somewhat higher while the cost of living is (I think) slightly higher in Berlin, so you’d expect it to be the other way round as Hamburg is actually one of our wealthiest states on a per capita basis whereas Berlin has always been known to be kind of poor for a capital and less affluent than quite a few tier 1 cities in Germany, which is also noticeable when you go there compared to Hamburg, Munich, Cologne etc.

      What’s the definition of social exclusion? Investment bankers are also at risk of social exclusion because of working 18h or so per day. Or is that social isolation?

      Well done Czech Rep. Austria and Poland! I believe in the next couple of decades, all of central and eastern europe (including balkans) will improve their standards of living and economy.

      Northern Sweden are better of then Stockholm region, hadnt seen that one, 15 years ago.
      Malmö, get your shit together.
      Then there seems to be problems in Trondheim region / Trøndelag in Norway, that’s surprising.
