  1. >18 servicemen from North Korea have already fled their positions on the border **between the Bryansk and Kursk regions of Russia**.

Ahhhhhhh so that’s where they’re suspected to be. Hmmm that puts things into perspective.

Is that why UA was burning all the forests in that region I wonder.

Who would’ve ever thought we would see the day North Korea invades Europe

  3. New way out of North Korea! Seoul should offer an asylum path to surrendering NK soldiers.

And here Ukraine was going to gift them some FPV’s. Kind of rude to leave the party early, here take one for the road….BOOM.

Ah, an interesting possibility that I had not considered. KPA soldiers seeing this as an opportunity to be near a porous as shit border they can just walk across to a better life. A hell of a lot easier than crossing directly into South Korea or via China.

NK soldiers will never give their lives willingly for their country.

    We’ve always known this.

If I was one of them I would have cried with joy if they told me I was going to Ukraine. Not because of “dear leader” 🤣 but because I was just given the perfect opportunity to Peace the fuck out

The best choice for them is to surrender to Ukraine and fight for them and give some good intelligence.

The Ukrainians just need to start cooking bacon in their trenches . . . mass defections guaranteed . . . beats rats and grass any day

  12. To reiterate what i wrote in another thread it is highly likely we will be seeing more news stories of North Korean soldiers not following commands by the Russian army but instead seemingly acting according to their own orders from back home.

This would likely be best understood within the context of how Wagner and the Chechens often act contrary to what the Russian army wants them to do.

I assume the DPRK soldiers have been given quite clear instructions before going to Russia on how to act if getting cut of from North Korean command hierarchies by the Russian army…

The North Koreans will likely want to operate as their own battalions and if not then they will be used as enforcers against the Russian army units like the Chechens.

Many comments in the other thread were about the risk of generational punishment for DPRK families back home but the flipside to that is also generational reward for the families back home if the soldiers and officers perform well…

  13. Russian soldiers were amazed that ukrainians have indoor plumbing. North korean are amazed they have food and water that doesn’t give you cholera.

Turns out its easier to flee from Russia into Ukraine and the west than from their homeland towards south Korea or China.
