      They’ll put children in jail as adults but let foreign workers/international students commit every type of crime and face no consequences lol.

      Edit: before you dog on me that I’m racist, I’m literally poc who grew up in Canada and know ppl who work in the police sector, it’s insane the amount of shit they let go on here without consequences.

      I’m not expecting anything good. The courts have not had Canadians in mind with their changes.

      Being under 18 shouldn’t give you free rein to stomp people to death without being held accountable.

      Can they look into the removal of race based sentencing while they’re at it? Being indigenous shouldn’t be a get out of jail free card for stabbing someone to death.

      It makes sense to me that if a 16 or 17 year old is convicted of 1st degree murder, they should be sentenced as an adult.
