    Perhaps they need to have a support pole like when you open a bonnet?

    That’s a sad way to die, especially as I have one in my house.

    Do we know what type of Ottoman and where it was bought from?

     If pistons are failing then that’s not good as these are a very common type of bed.

    Oh my god, what a horrifying way to die. And her poor daughter finding her like that, trying to save her mother.. This should never happen. Her poor kids.

  5. Had one but the mattress being tempurpedic 30cm was too heavy to safely hold up. Is this (or similar) what happened here? Because there is no mention of brand which makes me think they are not at fault or did I not notice it

  8. I did think my ottoman resembled a bit of a cage when assembling its slats.
