      What is even the argument here? That the RoC and GC refugees should accept their properties being sold to investors and settled via the “legal” body of the occupied north that the RoC doesn’t even recognize as a separate entity?

      Being angry at the situation is one thing (a shameless thing, but anyway), but the demands are so ludicrously stupid that it doesn’t even make sense. It’s stolen land legally owned by RoC citizens. On what grounds should the RoC government *not* intervene?

      Also, the accusation that the RoC “uses law as a weapon” is beyond ironic, given that they are essentially asking their own judicial system to have an influence, which would obviously not condemn or arrest these investors (hence the entire point of the protest). So they would be using their “law” as a weapon against GCs by severing their last legal ties to their lands and properties, finalizing the status quo of permanent division.

      Disgusting, shameless hypocrites.

      One of the most bizarre moves from Turkish Cypriot side. They are using right languages, claiming that what GC authorities are doing undermines TC’s right to “develop”; even though the entire development happened over “Greek Cypriot lands which is not legally settled” by using labour force from abroad that number of allegations targeting the president of Chamber of Contractors came forward about the human trafficking of the people. There was no human rights at that time as well. Than they invested in Iskele without taking any measures for environmental protection, they pumped the shit to the sea making iskele as area to have one of the most polluted seas with e-coli and there were no environmental rights, human rights. Now they suddenly realize that Turkish Cypriots have a right to develop! Hypocrites!

      These are mostly settlers from Turkey and the organisation is supported by Turkey. They have no right to call them selves Turkish Cypriots. Especially when they take Greek cypriot land and sell them to Israelites, Russians and Iranians. They sold the island to pieces. They have no connection or feeling of love to this island. They don’t believe this land is their homeland.

      Cannot wait as a GC to reunify with this bunch of people, looking forward to it.

      They protest in support of criminals and say “Kibrisli turkleri yok edemeyeceksiniz”. Question: ***How*** do we yok ediyoruz the TCs according to them? ***Are we finishing the TC by getting our usurped properties illegally sold to settlers?***
