Vor 1965 bestanden Viertelmünzen zu 90 % aus Silber. Wenn also jemand eine Viertelmünze aus dem Jahr 1964 findet, wird sie aufgrund des Silberwertes schnell aus dem Verkehr gezogen.
Dieses Projekt wurde durchgeführt, weil das Münzglas während der Helene-Zeit überschwemmt wurde und die Münzen zu korrodieren begannen.

Not beautiful data.
The problem isn’t using two axes for chronology where one axis is the decade and the other is the year within the decade. It’s questionable, but one long axis for year would’ve made for an unmanageable photo, so that’s okay.
The problem is that *I have no idea what you’re trying to show us.*
My initial guess would be to compare the number of quarters over the years, as a simple distribution of your collection. But that’s impossible due to the inconsistent stacking due to sorting by type. Some years, you stacked them all up into one tall tower. Other years, you split them into multiple shorter towers. Still other years, you splayed them all out into mini-stacks or even individual quarters! In addition to the wildly varying arrangement from year to year, the boundaries between years are rather muddy.
So, visually, what does this picture tell me? Three things:
1) You have a lot of quarters,
2) You like to arrange them, and
3) You have a lot more quarters from the 00s than from any other decade, which is peculiar but difficult to explain (e.g., why do you have literally no quarters from 2011?)
All in all, not a very informative image, hence not beautiful data. Sorry. Best of luck recovering from Helene.
