    The Christian equivalent of Sunni Islam is Protestantism, while Shia Islam is Catholicism.

    Almost half of the population in turkey is secular btw. They are just muslim on paper, most of them dont believe

    The map is full of nonsense and it’s clearly made as Shia propaganda, trying to massively inflate the demographics. There’s no such thing as Shia being majority in Istanbul or west & east Turkey! These areas are vast majority Sunnies. Same for Nile area in Egypt.
