      It’s sureal to me that a country can talk so much over weeks of time about bombing another country. And everyone is letting them do this. Plus the country they are going to bomb can’t prevent the bombing. Isreal is basicly telling Iran that they will soon be killing people and destroying targets in their country, so get ready. Don’t get me wrong I’m not condemning this action nor am I condoning it; I just think the way we fight battles these days is so weird.

      And Iran await with dread. Too bad, so sad, no one will weep at you for all the evils you have been doing domestically and internationally.

      It wouldn’t surprise me if the Israelis went after Iranian shipping, both in terms of their actual navy as well as the freighters that are carrying weapons to Ukraine and Yemen.

      Wonder how they will do this. Maybe use tankers (possibly American) to fly all the way around the Arabian peninsula and strike from the south? Seems like the easiest way politically and there are plenty of targets on the coast. The Iranian Navy could be struck which would be a good return on investment in terms of damage value while being explicitly military targets. No risk of pilots ending up as hostages if they need to eject since they’d be over the water.

      Why would the “US” tell you nobody this highly classified information?

      Israel will not seek “retribution” alone. It will strike targets in Iran that advance its military objectives vis a vis Hezbollah and Hamas.

      Any infrastructure that provides economic access in Iran is a good target.

      At this point I’d just lie to the US, there’s a good chance that someone inside the current administration leaks the targets to Iran.
