> “He had just done the Joker, he had just finished doing The Dark Knight, and he was so smug about it,” Garfield recalled. “I was like, ‘How did that go?’ and he was like, ‘Yeah, it’s really good.’”
> “I remember his like, Empire magazine cover came out and he was like, ‘Oh, they used a f—ing s— photo,’” Garfield shared. “And I was like, ‘Are you kidding me, dude that looks f—ing incredible.’ And he was like, ‘Nah, the pose is all wrong, it looks kinda like a conventional version of what an actor … you’ll see.’ And yeah, I did see.”
It ain’t braggin’ if you back it up.
Damn we lost a fucking real one with Heath. I miss him and his work tremendously. His willingness to try new roles and stand up for things and avoid typecasting, even when offered HUGE paychecks, to pursue his own interests that pushed him as an artist was commendable. I wish we got to see more of him instead of losing him at 28.
This must have been when they were on Dr. Parnassus together.
First thing I saw Garfield in and definitely took notice. He’s no slouch himself.
I always think of That clip of him when a fan spot him and screams and he just steps up and holds her face and kisses her and the women just melts into a faint like a cartoon..he was a character all his own, I’m happy he is immortal now, man is up there with James Dean
Why does Hollywood hate Andrew Garfield? It’s like every time he gets back in the limelight something comes up that tries to assassinate his character
Edit: yes, the article isn’t a hit piece but with that headline and with how people will undoubtedly take away *only* that, it’s worth calling this out as egregious
