      The Western world is withholding weapons from Ukraine, enforcing a literal embargo on Israel – all the while raising money for “humanitarian relief” for Lebanon and Gaza. This is the vile new form of appeasement and self-battering we’ll hear about when all of this inevitably breaks apart

      The civilian participation in 10/7 was the thing that broke my brain and I’ve never been able to unsee it. Every argument about Israel/palestine is filtered through that image in my brain first.

      The title basically happens to all children hostages in conflict. Least the child wasn’t forced to violently murder.

      This is why when people ask for Israel’s response to be proportionate they are missing the point. Should Israel hold children hostage and force them to watch a murder while gleefully joyously celebrating said murder? Of course not and they never would.
