Like there is support that the government provide. There been hurricanes and other disasters that been happening for the past 4 years. This is the few times you hear major stories about it because it sizes are insane. The government does provide support. Should it be bigger sure but congress choose to not fund that. Congrass could have made ppl come back to work and vote to expand fema. They choose not to do that.
Puerto Rico is an example of when the government fail to help people. Trump during the cali fires delay fema to help people out. Trump have to be force to give relief weeks later after the wild fire. He also needed to make a show of it as well.
