      Considering that Kremlin isn’t exactly reliable truthteller, and nor is Trump… there’s about 50% chance those test kits were actually sent over.

      The other thing that occurred to me is it takes people to pack this equipment and maybe the state department is involved as anything sent directly to world leaders would go to our embassy over there first and was picked up. In other words witnesses. But perhaps that paper trail is unnecessary with Putins confirmation. I think he did this as his analysis is this particular useful idiot is no longer going to be useful. If he thought he would win in November he would stay silent.

      They’re really shaken up about their shady deals with right wing politicians coming to light. It’s why they’re working hard to “prove” their claim of supporting Harris. So that voters will vote for Republicans thinking it’s the anti-Russia choice.

      Rudimentary playground reverse phycology but more than enough to fool your average voter.

      Last month, didn’t Putin say as a “joke” that he wanted Kamala Harris to win this time around?
      Feels like they’re just throwing out random statements in support of Kamala so that republicans can latch on to those to and go “see how Russia, who we suddenly believe is our enemy again, supports her? She can’t be the right choice if our enemies like her”.

      Some context: The story about Trump secretly sending a COVID testing machine to Putin (when they were most needed and in short supply) was uncovered by Bob Woodward. If that name sounds familiar it’s because Bob Woodward is one of the two the journalists that uncovered and reported on the Watergate scandal. The scandal that led to Nixon’s resignation.

      He also claims that Trump has kept in touch with Putin since he left the White House and that they’ve spoken about a half-dozen times since then.

      Bob Woodward is a very respected journalist and not one to lightly publish something without thoroughly checking multiple sources.
