This is what Americans do amazingly well, pulling together neighbors, communities and Countrymen in the most “Macgyverie” way to achieve the impossible! Sadly we have let outside influences misguided, and divide this great country. “We” are Americans we are better than this conspiracy crap just stop please. I was in the middle of hurricane Michael and the national guard was shocked when they showed up to our small community. They thought it would be chaos but we are rednecks and had our chainsaws and tractors clearing stuff away. We didn’t need the government and I doubt they appreciate that.

I have a friend who is a pilot and has been flying all around WNC with another group of pilots delivering supplies. He’s got videos all over Facebook. He’s stated fema and the government have told them to get the hell out as well as confiscated all of their relief supplies a few times. They are telling them to just give money.
Now obviously I’m just another rando on the internet. You don’t have to believe me. I’m definitely not going to dox myself or him by linking to anything on Facebook. Believe me or not, but I’ve told you what I’ve been told by people directly in the middle of the relief effort.
Take it for what you will.
They’re at the point now they’re asking for people who own private land in WNC to let them use it to land. They are also trying to actively hide their staging areas and where they are storing supplies. It’s basically helicopter and planes bringing supplies in and then people on atvs and other smaller vehicles trying to get the supplies out to people. The entire thing sounds like an absolute shit show.
Finally I’ll end by saying even though I’m telling you this is all true I’m not (and he is not) saying it’s a big conspiracy. Maybe they are just doing these things because they want to keep air traffic limited as well as know who and where everyone is. It could be for legitimate reasons. I don’t know.
