      It’s sad to think a mother can’t feel the joy of their child’s success. My mom brags about me all the time and I ain’t shit. I know I got a good one, but I’m always surprised to hear stories like this. I guess I’m that Disney demographic crying about Bambi’s mom and all the other former animated mommas.

      Actors are great and they give so much talent to entertain our mundane lives. What’s even great is when they give to society when they don’t have to and donate to help with their money and fame to make our big world a better place to live in.

      I think Kathy Bates is an amazing actor.

      Some people’s egos are so fragile they will feel threatened by their own child’s success. It’s sad that they will be so defensive when the whole point of raising a kid is to help them succeed.

      Definitely a huge problem with older generations.

      If you’re planning on having kids at any point, do them and yourself a huge favor and go to therapy before you have kids.

      A collection of ppl who have a social club decided you were the best in their social club. That’s it.

      You didn’t stop Gaza getting nuked.
      Didn’t stop crime in downtown.
      Didn’t help anyone get a loan to buy a house.
      You were paid VERY well to make believe.
      You did it well.
      Enjoy the moment. You’re only special to those who give you attention, but without the invention of the TV, the Oscars are utter rubbish to anyone outside the small small community of Hollywood. The fact the rest of America cares about the Oscars is an invention of Hollywood executives to sell ad revenue and make the US fawn over Hollywood starlets like it is important. It’s only important for Johnson and Johnson to sell more soap through commercial breaks.

      Tell me I’m wrong.

      I heard that quote and just saw Madame Rose from Gypsy. “She should have had my life” sounds like she heard a lot of ”I was born too soon and started too late!”
