Not what you think. Elon sued Jack Smith saying it was illegal for him to use trumps own tweets against trump without notifying the criminal trump first.

This was in the news a while back. Smith used an NDA to get the info without saying what was in it while assembling the case. This naturally prevented trump from disappearing witnesses or tampering with the evidence. Elon challenged and was fined 650k for contempt at the time (nothing to Elon). At the time, yet again, prosecutors argued successfully that notifying trump would endanger the evidence.

Long story short, the article is worth a read, but Elon is a fucking tool and trying to determine when and where he can control what people are told and when, and why, and he got smacked down. He must play by the rules.

I don’t trust that village of the damned. Waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I’ll take it but I won’t assume it is significant in the long term until I see the end result.

Can we get a TL;DR for those who aren’t up for paying for a subscription?

No matter how corrupt the supreme court has gotten, at least we can all agree musk is a piece of shit

Apparently Musk still has not learned lessons from the SEC fines or his own idiot mouth tanking Twitter’s value by 80%

The Biden Administration should have already canceled or postponed government issued contracts for SpaceX and Starlink

The Harris Administration should do this month 1 through executive order.. she should call it a “Review” of tax-payer funding to trillionaires. The boardmembers of companies he is affiliated with should push him out.

A Democract led House or Senate (should we be so lucky) should order that sniveling cuck in front of congress for crossing the line between 1st amendment free speech and using tax-payer funded contracts and subsidies to interfere with elections by promoting disinformation while silencing opposing opinions.

Despite this, what is to stop Musk from just telling trumps lawyers? Would be impossible to prove.

I dislike Elon Musk more than I dislike Ted Cruz. And I really hate Ted Cruz.

The Supreme Court didn’t really side with anyone. They simply declined to hear the case. Which means it never reach their courtroom

Well then Musk’s gov’t contracts should also be cancelled immediately. Talk about election interference, I’m looking at you, Twitter.

Do the Republicans not listen to themselves talk??

Only Teflon Don gets away with things via the SC. That doesn’t extend to other looneys

I guess nobody on the court wants a Cybertruck even if it’s free.

That’s probably less about being with Jack Smith and more about being against Leon.

  14. More proof how X is just the “legitimized” media arm of the GOP/MAGA.

  15. That article just seems to…end. It doesn’t seem to really start either. The headline is trash, too. “Shockingly sides”?! “Buzz off”?! None of that exemplifies what the subject and facts here actually are.

Maybe SCOTUS isn’t completely ready for the US to slide into a Russian style oligarchy, yet.

If they had sided with Elon, there would have been a lot of backpedaling for much of the surveillance the various law enforcement entities do in social media and phone records.
