      It is interesting to see the difference between the people of Bangladesh and those who are closer to the Pakistani border. I am guessing there are radically different sects of Islam in these places. Also India is just not a good place to be a woman but we don’t need a map to tell us that.

      Am I reading the percentages, correct? Those are the numbers of women who think it’s OKAY for their husband’s to beat them? Because they disagree? Let’s apply that rule across the full spectrum of humanity at all levels. Boss disagreement, he gets to beat you. Law officer stops you, it’s an automatic beat down in public. We have words, bust out the clubs like a bunch of fucking Neanderthals. Don’t like your foreign policy. Here comes the stealth bombers and cruise missiles. See you as an inferior sub human, then I create death camps and genocide. It’s a disagreement between individuals who are supposed to support one another in this difficult world. Everything on this planet is already trying to kill you,eat you, poison you, drown you, burn you, crush you. Lend a hand. Not a fist. Only one golden rule in all the world’s religions. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Shame we don’t follow it.
