Israel is actually the only developed country with an above replacement fertility rate…

The TFR data for Turkey was 1.51 in 2023 according to TURKSTAT. I am sure it hasn’t increased since then. Additionally, I don’t think the northern regions of Iraq have such a high fertility rate; the southern part of Iraq likely raises the overall figure significantly.

Israel being at almost 3 while being a developed country is crazy.

Also India at 2 makes me worried . India is too underdeveloped to have a below replacement birth rate.

Indian right wing: Muslims have too many Babies.

Reality:12 Muslim majority countries have lower fertility rates than India in Asia.

Maps of Asia without Russia don’t make sense to me. I understand that most Russians live in the European part of their country, yet Russia as a whole comprises about half of the Asian continent. It’s a huge country that’s obviously in Asia as much as in Europe. Geopolitically, it’s not really European but more Eurasian.

    9. Is the average just the arithmetic mean of all numbers or is it weighted by population?

Eliminating the map of Palestine is a call of genocide, either reverse the map or delete it!
