IANAL – Couldn’t the judge decide that anything that goes against the oath to preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States is, by default, not an official act?

Trump, the SC, and his allies basically got this unsealed indictment rolled out onto a red carpet for us. Thanks guys! We are busy pouring over it.

“Hmmm I don’t know, I’m still undecided on who to vote for.”

-apparently millions of dunces in the U.S.

    4. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/trump-immunity-jack-smith-brief-trial-redactions-rcna173649) reduced by 88%. (I’m a bot)

      > Last week, Smith filed the lengthy motion, which laid out Trump's conduct as the basis of the four charges in his criminal indictment.

      > Now, Trump's lawyers contended, Smith was newly determined to reveal evidence against the former president to the public.

      > Trump's second complaint was that Smith wanted to reveal the evidence in this case, but in Trump's Florida prosecution for unlawfully retaining classified documents, obstructing justice and violating our nation's espionage laws, the special counsel insisted on keeping the evidence under wraps.

A death sentence makes him a martyr but life without parole makes him a convict.

    6. Don is a half billion in debt with a shit-ton of litigation in front of him that he can’t afford.

    7. They were probably also hoping they could appeal the ruling, but the Judge unsealed it immediately. Hahaha

I’ve upvoted so many versions of this story by now… keep them coming!

    9. Yes, force the judges to determine what the fuck an “official act” is.

With all of this litigation on Trump’s plate, he’s kind of backed into a corner… winning this election is his only hope to make it go away. I’m not surprised he’s already lying about the outcome of an election that literally hasn’t happened yet, and you can bet we’re going to see some version of January 6th at the end of this year.

Can’t wait to see the unsealed charges and evidence for the maralago documents case. Then we can revisit “traitor” or “treason” with new charges.

He didn’t try very hard. His lawyers are shitting the bed on this case over and over again. Thank goodness there’s a competent judge on it to point that out to them.

    12. What is crazy people that tried to overthrow the election have been going to jail Jan 6 th etc but the guy they follow gets away with anything and everything it’s amazing. If he loses the election my questions how long does the public fund his court cases. This is his last chance as president to continue this suction of funds he has to involved somewheres to maintain this to stay out of jail
