I had posted a wordcloud earlier and got a lot of feedback so I’m trying another visualization for the same dataset.

    Source for the transcript: [https://www.cbsnews.com/news/full-vp-debate-transcript-walz-vance-2024/](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/full-vp-debate-transcript-walz-vance-2024/)

Visualization was made using plotly and zero-true in a zero-true notebook. Here is a link to the interactive app with source code (just expand the cell for code):

Obviously it’s not perfect but curious to hear people’s thoughts! Thanks!

Cool visualization, but what does the sentiment polarity tell us? Data visualization noob

Just to clarify, this is the inferred sentiment of the statements made by the candidates. The program just ingests a transcript and applies its sentiment analysis. This is not an analysis of the audience’s reception to each candidate.
