Crazy to think that probably a hundred million dollars was blown up into thin air in this short clip
This is an honest to god space battle.
Over 2 million USD to stop sub-500k USD missile. And if you just let it pass through, it might destroy tens of millions worth of aircrafts etc. Must be a hard choice to make. Definitely not sustainable in long run.
For a second i thought we witnessed an EAKV in action, but then i noticed it was just the camera moving. Also i dont think the sm-3 carries any kill vehicles, just a standard kinetic interception warhead.
Anyways, cool footage. Busy day for the more exotic AA systems for sure
Edit: compared to the other edited clips, this one actually shows the interceptors before the missile barrage. The previous clips have those edited out.

Atari missile command – *memory unlocked*.
Edit: you can play it online, just google it.
A few random thoughts:
– The camera seems pointed at Israel
– The fisheye lens makes straight trajectories look curved
– Israel doesn’t fire that many interceptors relative to the number of inbound missiles (
– IMO the brightening and puffs from presumed Israeli interceptors are probably not impacts but instead thrusters firing outside the atmosphere
– Intercepts appear to be taking place behind the camera (i.e pretty far out from Israel)
– The first group of lights heading toward the horizon are probably the Iranian missiles that made it past Arrow
– The second, slower, brighter, almost sparkly group of lights is probably intercept debris and the first stages reentering the atmosphere
– Some of the Iranian missiles that survived almost look like they have an exhaust plume on the RV (Fattah-1?)
– This is visually spectacular but eerie as fuck.
This looks cool
Where is the anti air? I don’t see any rockets/missiles coming from the ground. (one at 0:43?)
The flashes are probably missiles entering thicker part of the atmosphere and heating up from friction.
Were the closed captions really necessary. They block a lot of the footage
Edit: I know you probably didn’t make it. I’m talking to the void
I wonder why they aren’t using the iron dome for these. Is the iron dome not used in this specific region or are Arrow 3s just the name of the missiles launched from the iron dome?
bubbles are atmospheric reentry
Serious Star Wars stuff here
There you go. An IRBM assault.
I’m curious how much tangible debris there is when they’re intercepted at that altitude. If it’s already at reentry speed and you just blew it into smaller pieces, I don’t know how much would be left after they finished burning up, but I can’t imagine it would be full pieces of rocket like what Final Destination’d the poor sap in Jericho.
It’s like I’m playing Atari’s Missile Command
I feel like a lot of the stuff people saw falling from the sky was already shredded and off target (I only counted 14 unique explosions). People should also realize, this is what a nuke war looks like. Massive interception rates followed by a period where the target is bloody, but quite pissed off. The nuance is, this is 1/7th of the ballistic warheads either side (if in NEWSTART) would have on hand for launch.
Let the haters hate. 🤣 They just mad.
Missile command anyone? Used to hate the doink noise, meant I was doomed
The music is a shitty addition to this video
I don’t recall where else ballistic missiles have been used in such numbers.
I am still amazed so few people died. Like literal hell raining down and like 1 guy died?
