Die Bundesregierung ging davon aus, dass der Lululemon-Deal wahrscheinlich keine Kontroversen hervorrufen würde, wie aus einem Dokument hervorgeht

They really seem oblivious to almost everything.

How do you think that Canadians wouldn’t find it controversial that the Federal Government is giving exemptions to a company incorporated in Delaware, so they can circumvent the already lax TFW program requirements and hire non-Canadians for jobs in Canada with out even trying to find someone locally to do the job.

Its just generally perplexing how unaware they seem about how Canadians feel about almost anything, or the issues that matter to us.

What blew my mind about this is how openly proud they are about being corrupt and helping CEOs avoid hiring Canadians in Canada.

    > At the May 2023 press conference, Champagne said Lululemon CEO Calvin McDonald had texted him regarding the company’s application. Champagne said he contacted then-immigration minister Sean Fraser, whose department approved Lululemon’s request.

    > “Without the quick action of Minister Fraser, we would probably not be here today, and Lululemon might not have been in Canada for the future,” Champagne later said.

We’ve got CEOs texting ministers on the side who then gets another minister to pressure the civil servants in order to allow a company to hire foreign workers in lieu of Canadians.

AND THEY’RE PROUD AND BRAGGING ABOUT IT!
