Not necessarily diamonds, one can polish granite with quartz and quartz can be found everywhere. Then there are also sands that contain corundum which is harded than granite and quartz. It is slow and difficult, which is probably why Mauryans stopped doing it at some point.
I wouldn’t say it’s 100% perfect
Recently, I’ve seen various posts of yours related to masonry/stonework. The truth about all of these instances is simple—the future is in the past. What this means is that we’re heading towards the building of the Great Pyramid again, but it’ll take a long time before we get there. This cycle is a filter for civilization. UFOs are proof that the physics our advanced technology is based on doesn’t correspond to ultimate reality. Earth is a stage designed by the universe in order to move on to subsequent stages.
It is explainable. It just doesn’t make sense when you consider i) technology at the time ii) when it was made iii) why it was made
We kind of know how. But it doesnt make any sense.
I wonder why it is empty though. I would have expected to find something there. Like a nice couch and a 115 inch tv.
I’m a mason,brick and stone,this is amazingly astounding.

-Carved and polished by high-tech society in the ancient past. Before ~10k
-Unknown why walls are polished and why such high symmetry is needed.
-Shape of caves and properties of rock may also be important (sound waves, acoustic resonance).
-Advanced knowledge of how sound waves work also points to advanced society.
-Caves used by locals later in antiquity, earliest 322 BC (Alexander the Great died 323 BC). Iron tools and early steel were in use by this time.
-Locals added inscriptions to the walls (readable language) and made additional carvings such as the Buddhist style entrance to one of the caves.
Work done at later dates are rough in nature.
