Some hypocrisy from GOP that crossed my mind today.

    1) They like to say ‘don’t have an abortion give the child up to adoption’, but they also say that people who aren’t biological parents aren’t real parents.

    2) The last few months, they’ve been blaming liberal rhetoric for the assassination attempts on Trump, but a few days ago Trump was literally calling for violence in the streets yet the GOP hasn’t rebuffed it whatsoever.

The real winner of tonight’s debate? Florida Governor Ron DeSantis

  3. OnlyRise9816 on

Walz is going to hammer Vances weird ass stances, theocratic fantasy’s, and violent rabble rousing. Vance is going to go full on about Walz’s exaggerations, BLM, and “COMMUNISM!!!”

  4. guerilla_post on

Vance will have to defend both Project 2025 and Trump’s insanity.

Keep it about those topics and the Dems will win.

  5. 2centsofhumor on

Think it’s pretty obvious Walz will go in for the handshake and JD will try to out-alpha him by literally biting his hand, as any alpha would.

  6. Gets_overly_excited on

I just wish Trump would take the bait and do another debate with Harris.

  7. Yousoggyyojimbo on

Vance is going to throw out some sort of insane horrid accusation on the spot without evidence. Just watch.

  8. I should have gotten donuts for my watch party. I guess there’s still time though. Are Dunkin’ Donuts from a gas station edible when purchased at roughly 8:30 pm ET?

  9. Equal_Present_3927 on

Guys I found some of Vance’s prep notes, it says “in case you get too heated or nervous, just imagine everyone is a couch with big fluffy cushions that haven’t been broken in yet.”

  10. Carolina_Bobcats on

They’re eating the cats, they’re eating the dogs, they’re eating the pets of the people that live there.

  11. Class_of_22 on

Here we go guys. Vance is inevitably going to talk over Walz and all that.

  12. GradientDescenting on

Rachel Maddow just called Vice Presidential Debates the “Red-Headed” Step Children of planned Presidential events

  13. Jakesnake_42 on

Made Walz’s “Turkey Trot Tater Tot Taco” Hot Dish for the debate tonight.

Delicious meal. I like his policy positions but also would be willing to vote for him just for that dish of hot cheesy goodness as well.

  14. DoinIt4DaShorteez on

Walz should walk out and whisper to Vance “Your fly is down.”

Vance will either reflexively check it, or else he’ll publicly accuse Walz of telling him his fly was down, which sounds nuts.

  15. keine_fragen on

do you guys remember anything from the Harris/Pence one besides the fly and “i’m speaking”? i don’t

  16. eight_ender on

Walz has such powerful Dad vibes I’m not sure any accusation stronger than “you ate the last ice cream sandwich” is going to stick

  17. highriskpomegranate on

I’m going to get vibes whiplash tonight for sure. Vance is so viscerally offputting that I can feel my ancestors telling me to run for my own safety, but then Walz is so warm and excellent. so we’ll see.

  18. Weakness_Infinite on

I need to meet the one person in the country that will decide their vote based on this. Has to be a fascinating character

  19. false_friends on

    *stretches* In Trump’s words:

    I HATE REDDIT JAIL!

Happy to have gotten released right on time for the debate, hope to see Walz pop JD Vance like the zit he is.

  20. account_for_yaoi on

Vance likes to call people by their first names repeatedly in his interviews. There’s a non-zero chance we’ll get a sequel to “Can I call you Joe?”

  21. paperbuddha on

I’m picturing Vance and Waltz preparing for the debate tonight to the tune of Making Christmas from Nightmare Before Christmas.

  22. redmambo_no6 on

    >cannot bring pre-written notes **or props** on stage.

    Welp, there goes that idea.

  23. NeedNewNameAgain on

If at no point Walz goes with a ‘Listen, son…’ I will be deeply disappointed.

  24. GradientDescenting on

How is JD Vance going to defend against “Why did you create an admittedly fake story about immigrants eating pets, thus putting your constituents in Springfield Ohio in harm’s way for your own political benefit?”

  25. flyover_liberal on

Supposedly, Vance was thinking of dropping the moniker “Traitor Tim” on Walz during the debate, and somehow using the pretext that Walz’s unit deployed after he had retired.

  26. TheRantingYam on

Debating on going to a watch party. I’m just worried Vance is going to do a lot better than expected.

Walz is going to not only present the Harris/Walz ticket to the audience, but he’s going to have to counter the awful lies JD is going to push about him and whatever else will please Daddy Trump. Vance can just keep spewing lies and hate, and the vibes voters who have 0 brain cells are going to like the appearance of control.

  27. cluelessminer on

Vance is going to get owned.

He’ll be yelling like Trump once he loses his cool. I guarantee it.

  28. TechnoLord313 on

I just hope this starts with Walz giving Vance an extremely painfully uncomfortably firm handshake with his big meaty sausage finger Minnesota dad hands.

  29. The__Illuminaughty on

How many times will humanoid Vance 0.0 1 say ‘Stolen Valor’ tonight – Im going with 2 because hes a couch wanker and hes got nothing on the next VP

  30. thecatneverlies on

I hope Walz brings up Vances drag phase, and basically says “It’s okay man, I’ve dealt with a lot of kids, I know what you were going through”. You know, big dad energy.

This Vance clown has so many soft spots that Walz can use against him.
