  1. Submission Statement: In an interview to a Turkish outlet, former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad alleged that a special unit in Iran, created to combat Israeli espionage, was infiltrated by Mossad. Take his word with a grain of salt.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has butted heads with just about everybody during and after his presidency; including the Supreme Leader and the IRGC. There is a reason why he was barred from running for reelection during Iran’s 2024 presidential election.

This could be a political ploy to undermine his rivals.
