    A shame it wasn’t a catastrophic collapse but judging by the video of the damage I think the bridge isn’t usable for the moment.

    because the only other railway bridge is over the Big Kinel river.
    Forget about the railings. These have probably been torn down by the footbridge part.
    But the box girder seems to be bulged.
    Looks like a real damage.
    There is no damage to the rails, but even with the recently collapsed bridge
    in Dresden they were still okay, just hanging in the air.
    .
    The bridge belongs to a branch line bypassing Samara city in the south.
    There are flying junctions to the main line but it looks like some places are now reachable
    only by changing the direction of the train.
    On the branch line there are some military objects including the huge
    Volga State Ammunition Proving Ground in Chapayevsk.
    Maybe there is an ammunition storage, that is now harder to reach.
