  1. Republicans are really pulling out all the stops for any miniscule advantage they can find.

Alabama: so what? You ain’t gonna do shit about it so shut the fuck up.

Let’s be real, nothing will come from this. This is NOT defeatist attitude like you people love to claim.

Our DOJ has proven that their lack of action, limited action, or action that came to late has absolutely enabled GOP cheaters to do as they please.

But why? Alabama is not in play. I don’t understand their logic.

“Have you guessed the riddle yet?” the Hatter said, turning to Alice again.

“No, I give it up,” Alice replied: “What’s the answer?”

“I haven’t the slightest idea,” said the Hatter.

    You actually gonna do something?

Gosh I hope Harris puts someone more aggressive and willing to follow the law without fear, like a Jasmine Crockett.

Last month, Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen announced that he had begun inactivating the voter registrations of 3,251 people who had been previously issued noncitizen identification numbers.

The National Voter Registration Act prohibits states from removing voters from rolls within 90 days of a federal election, and Alabama’s voter roll maintenance commenced 84 days ahead of the November election, the Justice Department alleged.

A Justice Department review of the purge also identified multiple native-born and naturalized citizens who were incorrectly identified as potential noncitizens during the voter purge.

George is not even going to turn in an electoral vote.

You got bigger fish to worry about.

  7. I can’t tell if it is wristslap or if the voters have to be restored to active status and somebody gets prosecuted?

And obstructionism works because the supreme Court won’t rule on a *constitutional issue* before the election.

Only thing we can do is get out the vote so that it doesn’t matter.

    Alabama, check your voter status

So they are doing it in solid red states too? Not just swing states?

FFS, man, when will this madness end?

I think the fact that the US legal system has been corrupted to this degree that the country cannot have fair elections shows that the republican plot to turn the US into a kleptocracy are on the cusp of winning.

The fact that we see news articles like this and yet nothing is being done feels like this is a serious enough issue that the federal government almost must step in.

Alabama GOP: Your Honor, in our defense… we’re only purging *black* voters.

Conservatives on X/Twitter/Elon’s Personal Propaganda Platform says this is meant to keep illegals on the voter rolls and that Biden/Harris should be hung for treason.

    A couple things:
    1) it’s already illegal for undocumented immigrants to vote
    2) it’s Alabama

BONUS 3) federal law prohibits this kind of action when it’s less than 90 days before an election

  13. There is nothing wrong with clearing voter rolls. People move, people die – it’s the right thing for the State to do. However, you don’t do it within 90 days of election. This is why most states do it in the beginning of the year.

“You know what, you’re right. We’ll get on fixing it. Should take about six weeks to complete.”

    – Alabama, probably.
