      I would rather someone I don’t know goes through it rather than someone I do know. Let’s face it: we all have something or some things that would be absolutely mortifying for family to find.

      I used to have a “dead friend” – someone who didn’t get info about the contents, but knew that if I died, he needed to get x and y out of the house before anybody else came through. I had a reciprocal agreement with him and some other buddies. No need for my siblings, parents, in-laws, etc. to see some of the kinks my wife and I played with. I moved last year and no longer have this luxury, but I guess I’ll be dead, so no embarrassment for me when they open the storage tote labeled “blankets”…

      If we get rid of the electorial college…. This will never happen again. The people in this country vote for Dems in overwhelming numbers. The leaders of this country should not be chosen by a few swing states. The popular vote should carry the day.
