Big win for the govt. Feel like the “pro-trump” part of the headline is unnecessary here though.

  2. *Labour to announce £10bn AI project in Northumberland ~~backed by pro-Trump billionaire~~ TFTFY

Not a fan of Starmer, but who gives a shit what political views the boss of the PE firm funding this holds?

Fucking hell it’s Blackstone, they have about a trillion dollars under management and like 5000 staff. To describe this as being backed by a “pro-Trump” billionaire is miles off course. Schwarzman is the CEO he’s not personally backing this.

This AI stuff is going to cost so many jobs. I don’t want to see what the end of this decade will look like.

£10B from Blackstone coupled with AWS’ plans to invest £8B into the UK for data centres that will end up supporting 14K jobs, in addition to the 4K jobs this investment is expected to support, is absolutely great news.

Does anyone remember when the guardian pretended to be pro-Labour for a few years?
And wasn’t a red top rag with a blue font?

So basically all news now, there has to be an angle right? Just report the fucking news please

I can only but wonder what’s happened/happening behind the scenes for the guardian to bash at labour in such a way.

It’s like if kuennsberg turned on the tories, or GB news turning on reform D:
