The Burgundian Netherlands belonged partly to the Holy Roman Empire and the Kingdom of France. This maps shows it as fully belonging to the Holy Roman Empire.

I think England had a white dragon flag at one point, to counter the Welsh red dragon. That would be pretty cool to have, always liked the Welsh flag.

My problem with such maps is that you can barely decipher what pictures are on small countries.

One thing that’s a bit inconsistent, you’ve listed the Republic of Florence as having one of the top 3 incomes however as you have chosen to represent the HRE as one thing this strikes me as odd x

Btw this is not accurate, where are all the villages in H.R.E represented?

Same old cloth, but the use then is different from now.
Dannebrog was reserved for the Kings use. It did not become public ownership until 1854 so the common folk could raise it.
Danes may even overuse it these days. Just try to write “Dannebrogskage” in a google image search. How many other nations are so obsessed with their flag, they would incorporate it into birthday cake?
Or search for the Dannebrog protest pig. After the 1864 loss of land to Germany there was suppression of anything Danish in the German controlled areas. Danes went as far breeding the pig race https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Husum_Red_Pied in order to show they thought themselves Danes and not Germans.

As a EU4 pro gamer I am displeased with this map. The HRE definitifely needs to be shown in each individual flag.
Also why is Oldenburg in the HRE?

The Swedish flag didn’t look like that in the 1400s. The oldest record with the yellow cross is from the 1600s. Three crowns, possibly?

This is a modern Vytis flag used for the Grand Dutchy of Lithuania. Probably similar mistake elsewhere.

So either you play the game and add duchy level armoiries all over or you don’t.
Brittany is a duchy pretty much like Provence, Anjou or Normandy. Not an independent kingdom. Dukes of Brittany must pledge allegiance to the king of France and send troops when asked.
On top of that, even if the duchy of Normandy wasn’t yet fully liberated in 1444, it never waved the armoires of England. The armoiries of Normandy are the 3 leopards that you used for England. So it’s the other way around. The English royal armoiries of leopards and fleur de lys actually come from the duchy of Normandy and their claim on the French throne.
On top of that the battle of Agincourt is a battle within the collection of incessant hostilities called the Hundred Years War. Summing up the 100 years war to Agincourt is really odd. The English endured more crushing and decisive defeats of the same scale at like Patay, Forming or especially Castillon.

You lazy ass couldnt be bothered with flagging the individual nations of the holy roman empire. A 1444 map without Ulm is not worth its salt.

I have a feeling there’s a British bias in there somewhere.
Out of the 5 notable “wars”, 3 are involve Britain/England.
Why is Agincourt more significant than Castillon? Only one of those two battles ended the 100 years war, leading to historical significance. Agincourt was an English victory, but ultimately didn’t settle a major conflict.
Also, it seems to me that the kingdom of Navarra is missing, I thought it’s Northern remnants only joined France in 1589?
