Really, Mark? Then why don’t you tell us what your teen mental health was like between launching Facebook in February 2004 and turning 20 three months later?

At best, a word game. Likely, he’s just a piece of shit. Big tobacco played on that for 50 years.

don’t worry guys, because of Section 230 Meta isn’t responsible for feeding your children content that causes them to develop eating and anxiety disorders. All they are doing is giving users, including your kids, exactly the content they crave and Meta does not employ dark patterns that take advantage of a user’s neurobiology to make them addicted to their products.

There is literal internal research from meta saying otherwise lol it has even been linked to suicides flip sake

Dude who ‘would say that’ says that. Get on with your day I guess.

A thief and a known liar. Why does anyone care what this doofus blurts out.

Correct – Social media does not cause mental health.

    It causes mental health ***issues.***

Why ever would a man giving away a product and making your data something he sells to other companies and governments admit he was harming you?

  9. FaultElectrical4075 on

Why would he even say this? It’s not only untrue, it’s obviously untrue

Suckerburg is the worst one. His moral compass always points to greed.

Lot of techies have strict rules for their kids regarding social media though

If we asked him his theory on why the graphs for teen suicide attempts and teen social media use over the past 20 years look nearly identical, he’d shrug and say “I don’t know”.

  13. JustAGoldfishCracker on

    Of course he’d say that.

“My tongue is made of fruit roll ups” says the lion.

  14. RoutineStage4104 on

Of course he would say that Facebook, Instagram, Threads and Whatsapp is how he makes money. It would make no difference if a company like Purdue Pharma said that opioids doesn’t cause addiction or if the neighbourhood crack dealer said that cocaine doesn’t cause addiction

  15. Just an absurd statement whether we are talking about teens or adults. More dissembling from greedhead megalomaniac tech bros.

  16. Okay so a teen gets bullied online by a group of “friends” from school online, and then they start feeling depressed. see where i’m going with this zuckerberg?

Also “Joe’s flamethrower imporium” is not and never has been the cause of those house fires.. and those burning deaths that happened while using our products were due to misuse and smoking!!
