They might want to avoid war with Russia right away, hence. Meanwhile Russia is pretending to bully a NATO country.

Seeing again those Japanese torpedo boats, captain

Not so clever causing a tantrum like that while hitting Norwegian territory.

Do the russians need a reminder of how effective a Naval Strike Missile by Kongsberg is?

It’s the Russian Baltic fleet all over again, except it seems intentional stupidity not regular stupidity.

It’s not a warning shot if you shoot at a ship in it’s territorial waters.
NATO should deploy a destroyer group to guard vessels in response.

did he throw fish back? As a counter warning, I mean

The Russian navy is shooting live ammo at Norwegian fishing vessels in Norwegian waters.
And getting away with it.
It’s still the Neville Chamberlains dealing with the tyrant. And it’s not going well for the West.

> A Russian warship menaced a Norwegian fishing vessel in the Arctic Ocean earlier this month, firing a warning shot that forced it to flee, according to the small boat's skipper.
> The incident occurred on Sept. 12 in the Barents Sea, off Norway's northern coast, and involved Russian anti-submarine destroyer Admiral Levchenko, which was participating in a military exercise, and a small Norwegian fishing boat.

I would be worried if the norwegians were shooting at them. Specially in Antarctica

Imagine illegally impeding on Norway’s EEZ and feeling threatened by the simple presence of a NORWEGIAN, FISHING, boat to the point of FIRING in their direction.
This is a nation that claims to be serious and legitimate.
Let Ukraine unconditionally strike them with long-range western weapons and let’s end this shit once and for all.

Well, they do have [experience](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogger_Bank_incident) with this sort of thing.
I’m surprised Russia was able to get that weapon system to operate properly…I’m surprised it didn’t cause issues where the ship almost sank!
That is perilously close to being an act of war
Getting some real The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare vibes here
They were looking for new beluga whales to train.
Given recent events my money is on the fishing boat.
They should probably save the ammo.
Can we please scrounge up some old submarines for ukraine that would pretty fast make the russian navy stay close to home.
Finally a fight they can win!!!
Or another way to write headline “warship survives encounter with fishing boat thanks to quick thinking of its crew”
Weird move to feel like you’re part of the war.
Knowing ancient Norwegian “fishing” boats, Russia does not want that smoke once the fishermen board and starts chanting about Odin.
No no, Dogger Bank is thataway
Russian Warship Vs. a Norwegian trawler? Russians are done for, always taking on more than they can possibly handle …
So are the little fishing boats going to tow the russian fleet like farmers did with their tanks?
Id out my $ on the fishing vessel 🚢
Would love to see the Russian war ship go become a submarine
