      You’ll be fine. Trumpers are all talk. Putting out your signs or not is your choice, but I dont think it will affect the outcome either way who has more signs out. Remember only like 12% of the country is a maga nutbag.

      I’m in the same boat and I worry about it as well. I don’t think they’ll do anything, but I also never thought they’d storm the capitol.

      As always there will be treats and fear due to the ehco chamber in which they live, but the economy is better under Democratic presidents, job growth is better under Democratic presidents, stock market, and spending is better under Democratic presidents. So they will be fine. Noone is coming for their guns, people of color will still largely work hard and add value to this country. They will be fine.

      If you believe Trumpers are all talk, remember this……..churches and the power they have over a community.

      I live in a very rural area in the deep south, churches are holding meetings with the community and spreading lies to entice hate.

      The latest one they brought in a former Trump advisor to talk about the Haitians. Telling the community about how Biden has set up programs to send them to areas, giving them $3000 a month, free housing, food stamps, and medical.

      Never mind that these people have been here for years, working at the poultry plant because locals are too lazy and would rather make meth for money.

      I am a quiet Lib because I fear for my safety, I do fear what will happen when he loses. Especially since he made it clear that he is so far ahead, a loss would be due to cheating.

      I think it is right to be concerned. A lot of these MAGA fuckers are all talk, but not all of them.

      How many “Tim McVeighs” do you think are hiding in all those millions of MAGA nutcases? What was that whole plot about? One “pissed off at the government” guy and his buddy build a bomb over a weekend from a recipe they found in a book and use it to drop a 10 story building and kill almost 200 people. The whole thing cost a couple thousand bucks and only took 2 people to pull off.

      How many MAGA loyalists have access to REAL explosives at mining camps, rock quarries, etc (or at least know where they are stored to steal them)?

      How many MAGAs loyalists are in the military and law enforcement and have access to heavy weapons and explosives (or know where they are and how to steal them)?

      This is how the insurgency started in Iraq. Right after the invasion, former Saddam military dudes and former Ba’ath party guys stole truckloads of explosives and detonators from ammo depots and hid them. Then used them to build IEDs for years to attack the Americans.

      Even if only .01% of the people who voted for Trump are truly crazy enough to “do something stupid”, we are still talking about tens of thousands of people.

      One thing you gotta understand about Trumpers, they’re inherently lazy. It’s what defines what they believe in. The world isn’t nuanced, it’s black and white so they can just choose one side and always be correct. They don’t need to critically think or learn about different subjects, the liberals are literal demons and God sent Trump. The government is corrupt, but we don’t have to do anything beyond vote for Trump for everything to work out. There’s satanic conspiracies killing children, but we just have to wait for Q to unleash the storm. Every conspiracy theory they believe and perpetuate hinges on them having to do little to nothing. The vaccine is evil, but you just don’t have to get it. Even the insurrection was lazy, just march to the capitol and force Pence to make Trump president, no thought given to the absolute catastrophe that would’ve unfolded had they gotten what they were after much less even harmed a congressman. They may balk, talk a bit game about starting the civil war, but they’ll ultimately do nothing except to wait for it to happen.

      From what I’ve read 85% of them aren’t fully nuts. 50% will respect the result, and of those that don’t 15% want to ‘do something’. A great deal of that ‘do something’ is bluster, unless they want to end up in jail like the ones that stormed the Capitol. If things go a bit batshit, the decent ones will circle around you and show support. We and they dehumanize each side, when the real problem is one just one person, but you’ll find good people you didn’t expect when times are awful. You can worry yourself into hysteria, or trust in the humanity of the majority.

      All I see for any of his supporters trying anything is a ton of homes going on the market. I see his supporters sitting in prison for a felon. I see his supporters in prison while their spouses are kept warm in bed by someone else. The only true downfall is the children. All because maga wanted to f around and find out.

His followers can barely buckle their pants, what happens when they are forced to live on rations because they burned down all the Wendy’s? Keep living your life like after every single election and let the actual law enforcement deal with the fringe.
