      At least AfD and BSW should not get half of seats with those results, although it will be close.
      Nice that AfD did not claim first place either.

      I don’t know how it happened but the SPD has managed to turn around the situation in a few days.

      I hope that is true. But no matter what, that’s a shocking and surprising larger than expected support for the SPD compared to the latest polls before election.

      The result will be very interesting, 48%, a few less and this will not be enough.

      For the record the same was true last year. It’s just now more voters have voted both SPD and AfD.

      Quick question, as I don’t follow German politics. Is AfD pro-Russian?

      Talk about a split election! For those who don’t know, the SPD are center-left, AfD is the far-right, CDU is center-right (it was Angela Merkel’s party), the green are the environmentalists.

      But Germans kept telling in the comments that the AfD results in Saxony and Thuringia were not representative of the whole country? I mean the Putin parties still got 42%.

      SPD the extreme party for pushing not working benefits to an unhealthy limit and the other extreme as nazi party in 2nd place. So many great options at the moment in Germany to vote for…
