The United Nations Global Digital Compact, which is expected to be signed at the Summit of the Future, will push digital ID for all and further efforts to crack down on disinformation.

Said the United Nations, “A Global Digital Compact would articulate a shared vision of an open, free, secure and human-centered digital future that rests on the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 2030 Agenda.”

    This will include five objectives:
    – Close all digital divides and accelerate progress across the Sustainable Development Goals
    – Expand inclusion in and benefits from the digital economy for all
    – Foster an inclusive, open, safe and secure digital space that respects, protects and promote human rights
    – Advance responsible, equitable and interoperable data governance approaches
    – Enhance international governance of Artificial Intelligence for the benefit of humanity

They’ll be cracking down on the misinformation they’ve pushed in order for this form of controlled chaos they’ve created to work.

  3. A reminder: the UN is only useful as a place for diplomats to gather in the same room and talk face to face. Thereby hopefully deescalating situations through shared reality. It is not meant to be a governing body as it lacks checks & balances and has a tendency for corruption (as following the members that make up that club). Attempts to elevate it as a world ruling body, when it never was properly designed to be, will end in failure, likely disaster, and a high probability of world war.
