remember when he died, Haniyeh was called the “reasonable” one

>The offer, part of the “Deal of the Century” brokered by former Trump adviser Jared Kushner, was refused due to demands to disarm Hamas, according to Haniyeh’s son, who also reflected on the transformation and development of Gaza in recent years.
Most Palestinians rejected this plan. This article in the matter of fact portrays him as the main “hero” for turning down those billions, supposedly for not turning his back on his own people. Most people are against supporting Trump’s plan as a solution to the Palestinian question. You can’t hold that against him. This article is dumb.

The Trump plan for a Palestinian state would have rendered it a shattered archipelago, like some horrific anachronism of a holy roman empire statelet. it would have been a complete recipe for anarchy.
> In the interview with SamaQuds network on YouTube, Haniyeh's son talked about how much Gaza had improved in recent years, with the opening up of more aid channels and global attention on the Strip.
> "Who would have thought that this was besieged Gaza which had been through wars? The kind of beauty that was there could not be found in many Arab countries," Haniyeh went on.
Several times they have “turned down a state” it was because the deal was crap. Like “You get a state, we get all the farmable land and water.”

Blud I’m exhausted of this entire conflict. Jews and Arabs hate each other and are killing each other for Israel/Palestine whatever you wanna call it. The Holy Land doesn’t seem so holy to me.

When will people realize Hamas will never stop. They don’t want to live in peace with Israel. Why do you think those before Haniyeh have always rejected peace deals.

I guess the deal really blew up in his face.

Prince Bandar bin Sultan former Saudi Arabia ambassador to the US has some keen insight to the inner workings of Hamas.
He has shared some of them in an interview done a few years ago.
He reflects over the past (before his time) to the present (Touching on what he saw and heard during his time serving his country) to give a broad history of Hamas’s relationship with SA and its Arab neighbors.
These guys really do think they can win against Israel.

After every war, every escalation of this conflict the Palestinians ended up worse off than before it.. at some point you have to realize that even a not favourable imperfect peace/solution makes more sense than continuing this shit

Odd how every time a Palestinian state gets offered to corrupt Palestinian leaders they refuse it…

One of the demands was a total disarmement of Gaza, it’s a silly idea, it’s like making Gaza a puppet state of Isreal, a settler country, to me it’s like saying Ukraine should agree to peace with Russia at the cost of the Donbass and a total dissolution of it’s armed force.

Yes, but Biden is a terrorist, according to people who yell at my car with megaphones every Saturday at a nearby intersection . . .
Hamas? Arafat rejecting prior deals? Yeah, these people have zero context.

Trump lies constantly and can’t be trusted to follow through on the billions or a Palestinian state.
He probably thought his son in law couldn’t be trusted either.
Reputation is important.

Of course he did.
Haniyeh (or what’s left of him), Sinwar, and whoever will lead Hamas next, is a **slaver who serves a Russo-Iranian agenda**.
He does not serve a Palestinian welfare agenda.
His supporters won’t free any of his slaves by waving his “Free Palestine” flags.

All i know is; as soon as i start crying about “principals” it is NEVER about principals. It is about not getting my way. Now, i don’t create wars and devastation by acting that way but i do piss a lot of folks off and i find I’m often in the wrong. But that means i look at how i live, i have to or i can’t live with myself. Too bad other folks just didnt ask themselves the same questions “how am i living today?”

The idea has never been to get a state. If it was this issue would have been solved 1000xs by now. They exist only to repress a Jewish state and if they can’t do that to be a torn in the side of the only Jewish state. If they got a state they would be useless to the ppl who own and control them, thus they never will

Palestinian elites have always been this way. Ever eagar to scapegoat Jews and deflect blame for their own poor decisions in order to consolidate or maintain power.
