It was late December 2015 in Ramadi, Iraq there was 3 Abrams given to the Iraqi’s but the other 2 broke down or didn’t have enough crew so this tank went out by itself. This Abrams was called “The Beast” and was seen in multiple videos that day being hit multiple times by RPG’s and still kept fighting.

Regarding western tank performance in Ukraine, why do we see a difference in these videos where they can shrug off RPG rounds even in the side but get disabled/taken out by Russian FPV drones?

It just ate that thing and went about its day like nothing happened.

  4. I think just the side skirt/track armour defeated the warhead. They just threw it in reverse and backed out…

This bridge reminds me of that badass SPG hit on a BMP/BMD/TANK that was hauling ass across a bridge

Loved seeing this reposted, showcases their effectiveness honestly

I have never seen a video distortion like that around 34 second mark. Interesting

  8. Anyone else find it interesting that ISIS footage is allowed on this sub but Hamas/Hezbollah footage is not? What’s the reasoning behind that?

What is that rocket loaded in the rpg at the beginning? Looks like a tandem but it isn’t. Did they just strap an HE charge on a HEAT?

That was a pretty big rpg tandem too. Almost half as tall as the dude shooting it.

I was deployed to Ar-Ramadi in 2010! Wild place, but learned a lot about myself back then. Ar-Ramadi wasn’t so bad but Fallujah was a major shit hole as I recall.

If only warthunder existed they would’ve known to shoot on the turret ring 🤣

To think all these dandy ISIS gentlemen have long been mulchified by now!
