    Ich möchte mir ein Tattoo stechen lassen, das Weber aus meiner Zeit in Lappland zeigt. Ist das ok? Ist das kulturelle Aneignung?


    Mir ist bewusst, dass das Design auf einige kulturelle Symbole des Sámi-Volkes zurückgeht. Mir gefällt jedoch die Einfachheit und ich frage mich, ob ich mich schämen würde, wenn ich es kaufen würde?

      If you want the tattoo then go for it. The Sámi people tend to get offended by practically anything even remotely related to them or their culture so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

      I know, it is probably a small and loud minority that gets offended, just like it is for most groups of people.

      Just get it, if anyone comes onto you for it just say you have the blessing of Ukko and Tapio both.

      There is no such thing as “cultural appropriation”.

      I like the first and fifth desings, the first being the best. Nice idea, go for it!
