      This is another example of how anti-American the MAGA crowd has become. First, they tank a bipartisan bill that Republicans authored in order to prolong a border issue for the election. Next, they amplify racist rumors about Haitians who are in the US legally. Now, they boo good news about the economy. They jeer at our victory over the high inflation that resulted from Trump’s derelict management of COVID.

      Voters, wake up: Trump and Vance are not interested in solutions or the working and middle classes. They are only interested in themselves and their billionaire buddies.

      Totally memory holing the time (scratch the **times** as in plural) Trump leaned on the Fed to cut interest rates including like 6 months before COVID hit which is when we really needed those rate cuts. 

      Just like they’re memory holing that trillion dollar Trump’s Treasury injected into the stock market during the initial COVID hysteria. One trillion dollars without Congressional approval and not one “fIsCaL cOnSeVaTiVe” to be found.

      Rate cuts don’t alleviate inflation. Rate increases do. But we welcome rate cuts as they are a sign that inflation has abated.

      Rate cuts don’t alleviate inflation. Quite the opposite under normal conditions. They do however help employment since the cost of money becomes cheaper making borrowing easier

      You actually INCREASE rates to bring inflation down. You cut rates to stimulate jobs and economy (at the risk of rising inflation). It’s a balancing act.
