  1. Don’t be surprised to be a major military movement by Israel into southern Lebanon now that so many of the Hezbollah leadership are seriously injured and likely to be out of action for a long time, if not permanently.

    Absolutely terrifying strike.

  2. Any more analysis of the logistics and details of the attack? Seems like the pager distributor or retail outlet(s) had to have been involved.

2750 injured, 8 dead. They must have infiltrated the supply line. Those explosions were bigger than just a lithium battery blowing up

According to the Guardian pagers are also exploding in Damascus, Syria.

The way Mossad operates are terifying. I would be scared shitless being targeted by them, you would never be safe.

“I have an uncle in Egypt that can get us some pagers so the Israelis won’t tap out phone calls.”

  7. Imagine being a Hezbollah militant right now. I saw some videos, hands blown off, holes in the mid section, faces destroyed.

I mean talk abt psychological warfare. These countries cannot come close to Israel’s capabilities.

There will be a lot more dead.

From what I’ve seen of the way it all went down it seems to have gone like this:

    Hez members get a page…

they lean in to see what the beeper says and after a second…

    BOOM.

That means a lot of serious head injuries and upper body injuries.

    This is INSANE

  9. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://abcnews.go.com/amp/International/wireless-devices-explode-hands-owners-lebanon-hezbollah/story?id=113754706) reduced by 74%. (I’m a bot)

    > At least eight people are dead and over 2,750 people were injured after pager devices owned by a large number of workers in various Hezbollah units and institutions exploded on Tuesday, according to Lebanese officials and the group.

    > The dead and injured included people who are not members of Hezbollah, such as a 10-year-old girl killed in the eastern village of Saraain, according to Hezbollah-owned Al-Ahed News.

    > The Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, was among those who had one of the pagers and was injured due to an explosion Tuesday, according to Iranian state TV. Amani said in a phone call after the incident that he was "Feeling well and fully conscious," according to Iranian state TV. Hezbollah said it is conducting a "Security and scientific investigation to determine the causes that led to these simultaneous explosions.”

That is an incredible attack, that’s really quite scarily good. Thousands of pagers being blown up at essentially the exact same time, and most of all injured and killed being part of Hezbollah with only minor impact on other civilians. That’s truly one of the most impressively orchestrated attacks I’ve seen, and shows that Isreal is not someone to ever underestimate. I wouldn’t be surprised if they launch invasions towards Lebanon to secure northern Isreal now that there are so many out of action

I will say this, when it comes to counter-terrorism, the Israelis do have a flare for the dramatic. This is like something out of a spy novel.

So it’s similar those fake encrypted phones the US used against the cartels but with an explosive kick. Interesting

  13. Funkytadualexhaust on

You would figure they would open up their pagers to confirm no trackers or unusual content. Implies they arent that careful.

  14. CodeAgusCraic on

Imagine being the guy who thought he would get in shit today because he left his pager at home.

  15. Honky_Stonk_Man on

That one guy still flying pigeons: “I told you guys that upgrading was a bad idea.”

  16. West-Shape-3337 on

One thing I have figured out is that no matter how targeted Israel’s attack is, people are always gonna criticise it.

  17. redfieldbloodline17 on

I can’t think of a bigger “fuck you” then literally blowing the dicks off thousands of terrorists at once.

  18. CampInternational683 on

2100+ injured, 9 dead so far. The IDF has issued mobilization orders to **all** reservists, the IAF has been put on standby, cellular networks and GPS services are under a blackout all across Lebanon, and the Home Front Command has informed local authorities of an imminent escalation with Hezbollah.

It’s possible we’re going to see another total war

  19. sedition666 on

    >The Lebanese Council of Ministers collectively condemned “this criminal Israeli aggression, which constitutes a serious violation of Lebanese sovereignty and a crime by all standards,”

Indiscriminately firing rockets at Israel day and night is fine though?
