There’s definitely a human behind that reply lmao
Is this accurate?
Damn I believed you before I saw shit post tag. Still got a good laugh tho
“Don’t believe everything you read on the internet”
-Gjergj Kastrioti-
Pffff
Roasting r/albania, eh? Let’s get to it:
When you join r/albania, you quickly realize it’s just a paradoxical mix of ancient history and tech-bro wannabes. One minute they’re waxing poetic about how their ancestors invented rakia, and the next they’re in a heated debate about which cryptocurrency is going to “save” the Balkans. Spoiler: None of them will.
The memes are either 4000 years old or fresh out of Google Translate. Seriously, half the posts are about some obscure medieval king that no one outside of Albania has heard of, and the other half is just a “When Gjergj Kastrioti was lit” joke.
Everyone in the sub acts like they’re secretly the Prime Minister of Albania or on the verge of revolution. Oh, you’re going to “single-handedly save Albania from corruption?” Right after you finish your League of Legends match, I bet.
At least once a week, someone decides to share their “deep political insight” about Kosovo – like we don’t already know exactly how that conversation’s going to end. You could set your clock by the predictable arguments.
It’s like half the sub is still trying to convince the world that Albanians invented everything from pizza to democracy. Yeah, yeah, we know Skanderbeg was a legend, but that doesn’t mean he invented the internet too.
The love/hate relationship with Tirana is wild. One minute, they’re bragging about how it’s the “new Berlin,” and the next, it’s like Tirana is the city equivalent of stepping on a rusty nail.
In conclusion, r/albania is basically the internet’s Balkanized black hole where Albanian pride, poorly translated memes, and pseudo-intellectual debates go to duke it out.
tech-bro wannabes 🤣🤣🤣🤣
