      Yeah, there have been a couple of them in the time that I’ve been here.

      Happens about once a year since a few years. Probably a good idea to test all the systems working together periodically, just to make sure everything works if you really need it one day.

      Yes, its common Germany tries to have a working emergency system. You will have SMS and also warning sirens tested regular. Also sone Apps like NINA are for that purpose.

      Every year at 11am on the second Thursday of September. Ever since the emergency warning system failed during the floods of 2021 Germany has been improving and testing it.

      It was announced in all the news media a couple of days ago.
