My brain is about to have an aneurysm trying to figure out what this sentence is trying to say.
Could it also have said “These assets are not used to generate excess profits, which are transferred to grandchildren as Lego sets”?
Am I to understand that it may be standard practice to transfer sanctioned Russian money’s interest (profits) to Ukraine? Just seems a confusing sentence.
