Who the frack throws coffee on a baby?

I wouldn’t normally advocate for violence against a person, but if this guy doesn’t have diagnosable medical mental issues I’d happily watch him being lashed.

Crimes against the defenceless just really get me angry and boiling hot coffee on a baby is pretty high on my trigger list.

This is a massive story in Australia. It’s a mix of bizarre and suspicious. He seems extremely capable as well as equipped to escape.

One quite serious theory is that he’s a spy who was meant to target someone who would both understand the message but also not go to the police. But he messed up and got the wrong person. It’s up against the competing theories “he’s a whack job” and “he seemed to know how to evade police.”

Oh that guy? That’s just your average redditor when someone mentions a child

“The infant was at a picnic with his family at a suburban park on 31 August, when witnesses say a “strange man” approached, emptying a flask on the child before fleeing on foot.”

jesus christ… imagine having a normal day at the park, enjoying a picnic and a psychopath comes and in a split second ruins the life of an infant.

the infant needed multiple surgeries and will still need a lot more in the future… i can’t even comprehend why someone would do such a thing. nothing could ever explain it.

They’re gonna have a field day with him once he’s in custody. Attacking infants deserve the harshest of punishments and more so during interrogation with hot coffee

    >Australian police are working with their international counterparts to locate a man they believe fled the country after pouring boiling coffee on a baby in Brisbane.

    >The random attack – which occurred last month and has shocked the nation – left the nine-month-old boy with “serious burns” to his face and limbs.

    >Queensland Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 33-year-old wanted over acts intending to cause grievous bodily harm, a charge which carries a possible life sentence.

    >However, on Monday they said their main suspect flew out of Sydney airport six days after the incident, and just 12 hours before they were able to confirm his identity.

    >The infant was at a picnic with his family at a suburban park on 31 August, when witnesses say a “strange man” approached, emptying a flask on the child before fleeing on foot.

    >The baby was immediately given first aid, before an off-duty nurse took him to her nearby apartment to run his burns under cold water.

    >However the child suffered dramatic injuries which have already required multiple surgeries, and his parents say he is facing a years-long road to recovery.

    >The motive behind the incident is still unknown, Det Insp Paul Dalton told media, describing the case as one of the “most complex and frustrating” he had ever led.

    >He confirmed that police knew to which country the suspect had fled, as well as his name, but said disclosing the information at this time could jeopardise their investigation.

    >The man is an “itinerant” worker who had travelled to Australia repeatedly since 2019 and had addresses in both New South Wales and Victoria.

    >Dept Insp Dalton also said the suspect was aware of “police methodologies” and had been “conducting counter-surveillance activities” to evade them.

    >The baby’s parents on Monday told media they were “devastated” to learn the suspect had left the country but also relieved he was gone.

    >”It sounds like they were very, very close in catching him, and this obviously means that we’re going to have to wait who knows how long to get justice for our son,” his mother told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

    >The boy is in “good spirits”, his father added, but may yet need further skin graft surgeries.

    >An online fundraising page for the baby boy has so far raised more than A$150,000 ($100,000 £76,000).

  7. There is punishment from one of the civilizations I cannot remember that give drugs in huge quantities, the body gets numb completely and ties the body with the head down and they peel the skin like a banana and leave it like that so when the punished one starts to get back from drugs he dies slowly in pain. Suits perfectly for this sweetie

  8. Weird that they know the name, age and country of the man but releasing it will jeopardize?

If I’m that dude I would now know that country I’m in is know and I can flee again before my name is released entirely.

Wouldn’t releasing all the info be th e best possible option?

Also that dude is a ROUGh 33 yr old

FFS the only reasonable punishment for this mf is to throw him in a cauldron with boiling coffee.

  10. If that were my child and I found that man, I would be totally fine with the consequences I’d be given afterwards. The things that would be done cannot be said on Reddit. I don’t want my account banned.

I naively thought in cases like this one of the first things you do is alert airports.

Who the fuck comes to another country and throws boiling coffee on a baby then just bails?

WTF is this world we’re living in these days…

australia has long been a playground for ccp police and agents, this seems to be one of their doings

  14. janeeyremug on

FYI, the dates is this article are incorrect. The incident occurred on 27 August and the attacker fled the country on 31 August

  15. Shit like this will have zero fucking respect even from the worst of criminals. Attacking women and children are the lowest of the low crimes

I had a classmate in elementary school who accidentally got extremely hot water splashed down his face. He still has a large red mark on his face, 20 years later. I hope the baby will be OK.

We are all wired and raised differently. Teacher, 10 years. kids. never got mad at one kid, ever. they are kids. infants is next level. this is evil

  18. OrkidingMe on

We will pour boiling water on this evil scum when we find him. C’mon Universe

Dude just pissed off the world. Right in the middle of dystopia surveillance hell. This is going to be a rough time for this guy.

I feel so unexplainably sad for the child. To have done nothing to knowingly to cause a situation, but have to live endure pain and suffering due to someone else’s follie

They need to catch him and castrate him with hot coffee.
